This is the sixth in our Lenten series, "Why?" This story of the woman pouring the expensive nard from the alabaster jar over the head of Jesus is in some form in all four gospels, but in Mark the woman is unnamed and unknown. The focus, then is on her act, which is an act of pure worship.
