Why Would God Live in a Tent?

Why Would God Live in a Tent?

The Israelites end up camping at Mt. Sinai for 11 months. There Moses receives the law and the instructions for the tabernacle, which is basically a tent that would serve as a portable place of worship for Israel. The word “tabernacle” literally means “to pitch a tent”. God pitched his tent in the middle of the Israeli camp. Why is that important? Scripture reference: Exodus 25:1,8-9;29:42-46; John 1:14. “Why Would God Live in a Tent?” is part of our Moses, A Person for Our Times sermon series.
