Once Dr. Google came in to play, all we've done is type in a quick search for "how to keep from blowing up at my toddler" OR "What to do when my toddler throws a tantrum." Since we lose it with our toddlers most of the time, it only makes sense that we apparently need help with parenting them so they don't end up like us, and struggle to process their feelings.
But guess what all this researching for the answers to all your questions does, it doesn't make you more self-sufficient, it makes you more reliant on others and doubtful of yourself. This inhibits you from working your brain muscles to think for yourself. You're more of an expert than you give yourself credit when it comes to parenting your toddler and I want to show you just how much you actually know and help you figure out to make it happen in this episode.
On top of all that, since I work with moms who struggle to lose their sh** with their tiny tot, I'm going to share a couple of resources I cooked up specifically designed to help you stretch your mind and keep from blowing up in the heat of the moment. Hopefully, by the end of this episode, you will feel a little lighter because now you realize you know more, the answers are in you to access whenever now you know who you need to really work on and how to help with this frustration.
