Today's episode is a great lesson in Correlation Vs. Causation. I began my research into running and knee pain with a distinct bias. A bias I was expecting to be confirmed in the scientific literature. But it appears, in some small part, I was wrong.

I had confused correlation and causation. There are nuances to encroaching knee pain outside the act of habitual running, though the high impact activity has a role to play in the ultimate conclusion of arthritis. I hope like me, listeners today are also able to reorient their biases, in light of the studies I have linked below.
