If God knows everything, then why would you have to come out and say so much to him in prayer? Why do we have to spill our guts and share our deepest traumas and sins? God already knows it! Does he want us to feel worse about it? Does he want us to feel more shame and guilt? Thankfully, God invites us to be brutally honest with him in prayer because it's the only way to get past it.
