What will be remembered?.

It's not the money that you made,

or the titles that you gained,

or the hours that you stayed

long after all the others

had gone on home.

This is all part of whatever

job you have undertaken.

It is expected by those

who are your higher ups

and they will occasionally

Promote you or grant you a raise.

That is how they will remember you

and your dedicated efforts,

for all of your working days.

But what will not be remembered

nor cherished is your anger that

creeps into your persona.

They will all be shuffled to the back

of the memories of those you hurt.

What will always be remembered

will be your kind face, your smile

and the love you share with all your fellow men.
