After Google's Panda and Penguin updates, many SEO experts were constantly on edge anticipating another update that would ultimately upset the system as they knew it. Fortunately, it appears that the main updates over the past decade have made Google more comfortable with the quality of its search engine. This is evidenced by the fact that all of the updates since Panda and Penguin have been small with very little effect on most websites rankings.
