Over the weekend Politico ran a story condemning the right's "obsession" with having babies confirming once and for all that desiring a family is now officially right wing. Where does this baby making obsession come from? It may have to do with the fact that the US fertility rate hit an all time low of 1.6 children per woman in 2023, well below the 2.1 child per woman replacement rate. Young people are opting out of the American dream and family creation all together. On this episode of Forge and Anvil I will be joined by Terry Schilling of the American Principles Project to discuss whether or not the family unit can be preserved for the next generation of Americans.
