In today’s episode of the DDC Podcast, I dive into how your menstrual cycle impacts your training—from strength levels to energy fluctuations—and why understanding this can help you train smarter, not harder.

Too often, we push through workouts feeling frustrated when we’re not lifting as heavy or when our energy dips. But what if that’s just your hormones doing their thing?

I also break down the menstrual cycle into four phases, but in reality, there are just two: the follicular phase and the luteal phase. I divide the follicular phase into two parts to make it easier to understand how it affects our workouts.
