Of all the systems we have in our society, I can't think of any that's more polarized than our political system!!  Admittedly, I'm not a very political guy myself, but in recent years I've tried to educate myself on the "legal going-ons" in this country.  I've found it to be rather difficult because of how murky the waters can be (with all the mudslinging) and how passionately bold battle line are drawn. It's easy to be turned off completely and coming away thinking, "My vote doesn't really matter anyway!🤷🏽‍♂️   It's with this in mind and the fact that Election Day is next week, we decided to do something we've never done here on We Hate You Internet... We're doing a DOUBLE UPLOAD!!

To help unravel this ball of yarn and shed some much needed light on the subject,  we invited the owner of the Bates Law Firm and current elected official, Randy Bates Jr.  With over 20 years of political experience, Randy gives you a very clear and realistic explanation of why your vote really does matter!  He dropped so many gems that we decided to break up our conversation into 2 parts ( for digestive purposes😉😄)

- why are people unaware of that importance
- growing up during the Civil Rights movement and how the political process was effectively utilized 
- being groomed in the political arena
