We just watched the 1987 anime film Wicked City on Amazon, and while it’s a great example of classic horror anime with incredible visuals, you really need to pack your sensibilities for this one. The story is gripping and the animation style is top-notch, but the film’s depiction of women is problematic, leaving us conflicted.
