It may be hard to believe, but the Cannondale Bike company didn't get their start by making bikes. Their journey began in pre-cast concrete for housing. Nav Bhatia had a similar circuitous journey. As a Canadian immigrant from India he sought a career in mechanical engineer, but ended up selling cars putting him on a path that eventually led to his induction in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
