Randy and Kris are joined by Tyler McCarthy, one of the hosts of the Not Couple Goals podcast, to revisit a formative film from Kris’ life: Wild America (1997). Together, these boys do their best to explore a film starring 90s teen heartthrobs Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Devon Sawa. Surprisingly, once they get past some questionable animal puppetry, the chat shifts to the dangers of toxic masculinity and some of the smart choices the film makes to avoid falling into that common late-90s trap. 

Of course, they also spend plenty of time celebrating the wildlife, needle drops, and magical realism that helped this film echo all the way to the present from Kris’ past. If you also have a beloved old VHS tape back at your childhood home, this episode is for you.
