The CPSC and Wild Republic now recall Wild Republic Slap Watches.  The coin-type battery within the watches may come out creating possibilities for battery ingestion, electric burns within the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts and a choking hazard.  About 463,000 of these watches were sold in the US and about 75,000 were sold in Canada through Kole Imports, Roer’s Zoofari, Seaquest Interactive Aquarium, other zoos, museums and aquariums and online at WildRepublic.com, Amazon.com and Peluches Cory.com.  Do not permit children to use these watches, and contact Wild Republic at 1-800-800-9678 or online at wildrepublic.com to arrange a refund.
