In this Psalm, we see the response of David to the immense genocidal evil of Doeg the Edomite that we read about in First Samuel 21 and 22. David is going through a range of emotions yet inspired by the holy spirit pens this Psalms calling out Doeg for his evils whilst, David himself affirms his faith is rooted in the steadfast love of God. The amazing truth is that this steadfast love of God is available for all us today.
