The final episode in the Summer Survival Series! How do you build a shelter in any type of condition? That's right- in the summer lost in the forest or in the winter lost in the snow? My brother-in-law did a winter survival class at Idaho State University where he learned how to build a shelter out of snow and survived in it overnight in -15 degree conditions without a sleeping bag! Thought it might be a useful skill to you, so I contacted his instructor, Justin Dayley, who gives us more than just shelter building tips, but tips on survival kits for all ages and first aid kit basics as well!
