One of us lives in the Pacific Northwest. It is mid-summer and, as is traditional here for this time of year, the skies are covered in a thick blanket of smoke. In fact, it's not just the skies, but the ground as well. And where does all that smoke come from you may ask yourself? Wildfires, naturally. So, let's see what's so good about them that we have to stay indoors for half the summer.
