Andro Vos spent 15 years at The Netherlands Forensic Institute as the Program Director, Policy advisor to the National Prosecutor office, and the Ministry of Justice and Security. In May 2022, he opened the first Wildlife Forensic Academy in Cape Town, South Africa which is the world's first platform for mobilization of wildlife forensic knowledge and expertise. This state-of-the-art facility assists in combating wildlife poaching and trade and stop the extinction of endangered species and to stop the spread of deadly pathogens from animals to humans.
