Will NFT's Change Gaming?

Listen Later

We take a look at how NFT's will change gaming over the coming years. EA has expressed interest in NFT use in gaming. There are also a lot of NFT games springing up throughout the gaming world. What does this actually mean for the future of gaming? Non fungible tokens. This will change gaming for the future. And we are to a point where we're getting very close to this taking off, it really just takes one company to say yes to non fungible tokens and putting them into video games. Electronic Arts seems to be a closest company at this point in time, that can really bring this fruition. However, it'll also take other companies to be able to do this, but most likely what we'll see with non fungible tokens is something along the lines of a Call of Duty or a halo and finance or a battlefield using these non fungible tokens to be able to pay people to play their games. What a concept, being able to have people play games and being able to pay those people to play games, and the end and that's really an interesting concept. Like what if you could earn money by just playing a game, and we are very close to that point in time? Think about the movie Ready Player One or it's also a book. It really goes deep into what could be called non fungible tokens or NF T's. And we may get to the point where this is something that goes more mainstream. There are a lot of NF T games out right now. They're kind of trying to bring this together. And have people earn money through cryptocurrencies and blockchains. But what really needs to happen is there needs to be buy in from Google and Apple for this to really take off and I'm not sure if we're to that point yet. But we could be that point in the near future. Google and Apple would need to have to create crypto wallets in order for gaming to really take off from that standpoint, if they go ahead and they create crypto wallets. We could definitely see a major development when it comes to gaming and seeing that grow from that standpoint. So we're very close. It's just a matter of time before we see the growth of these and we're at the very beginning stages of seeing non fungible tokens being used and video games, but once it takes off on the mainstream video games, it will take off like a rocket ship. This is something that is on the horizons of what blockchain can do from that perspective and cryptocurrencies. So it'll definitely be interesting to see what exactly happens from this standpoint of the growing of the cryptocurrency markets and seeing the non fungible transfers really take it to the next level. We are very close my friends and I'm not sure exactly when the day will happen, but it's not a matter of if at this point it is a matter of when non fungible transfers are used and mainstream gaming and once the main players and gaming start accepting this people are going to be able to earn money by playing games, and maybe you play a game for a certain amount of time and earn tokens. Through that using cryptocurrencies or do certain achievements in games to earn those cryptic crypto tokens? I can even see Xbox and PlayStation and Nintendo get in on this and use it to have achievements in their games and if you achieve certain achievements, you'll get the cryptocurrency and go from there. So there is a lot that can be done here that could pay players to play pay, play games. And in the end, that's what you want to do to have people come back to their games and it would cost less for major players to do this because it wouldn't require advertising people will just want to go and do you those achievements and by the games based upon achievements, we've seen this with PlayStation Trophies. So this is definitely a business model that could be used that can make this very profitable from a blockchain cryptocurrency non fungible transfer perspective going even deeper with video games, they can also be utilized from the standpoint of hey, this is an item thing you can buy in a store.
