Listen...Listen to that friend, that family member, that co-worker. Listen...listen-don't be so intent on getting your point across that you fail to hear what is being said to you. Undoubtedly, the subject of this piece had voiced his intent at some time prior to making the ultimate decision to end his life. 
So, I encourage us all to...Listen-with our eyes...Listen-with our hearts...Listen-with our gut-for if the preceding three tells you that something "isn't right" then seek to address it. Even if you may be wrong-the alternative is much worse.
