Jesus taught some things too difficult for people to accept. As Jesus' followers, the Holy Spirit convinces us to believe the most difficult of teachings -- that we contribute nothing to our salvation. It is God's grace in the work of Jesus that helps us answer whether we are Jesus' friends forever.
