The state Senate committee on Housing held a public hearing Monday afternoon on Senate Bill 608, which is already being called the nation’s first statewide rent-control law…if it passes. The measure would set a once-a-year limit on rent increases, and limit the amount the rent can go up.  Willamette Wakeup correspondent Stella Shaffer has testimony at the public hearing on this bill.
