Willard City is changing its utility billing mail service in a move officials say will save about ,000 per year. During staff reports Thursday, Willard City Manager Jeremy Kimpton told the council the city will begin using Freedom Mailing to process and send monthly utility bills. The change was handled administratively and did not require council action. Kimpton said the switch is expected to reduce mailing costs compared to the city’s previous provider. He also noted the city will continue encouraging residents to use digital billing options, though no policy changes were proposed. No changes to utility rates were discussed.
