The term “willflower” is a fictional word that redirects the focus of willing, from the act of powering to the art of flowering. Whimsical and quirky, this willflower idea highlights the possibility to flourish in life, through self-control, decision-making, and resilience. While the extremes of willpower can lead to an overinflated ego, i.e. overpowering, willflower can lead to blossoming and bearing fruits—bringing gifts into the world.
