From mummified cats to eating toasted mice, William Buckland has done it all. He's a Victorian scientist and theologian who ate his way around the animal kingdom, as well as started the field of corpology (the study of fossilized poop). While Buckland's eccentricities have made him memorable to us, he also added great contributions to science, such as finding the Megalosaurus, one of the first dinosaurs ever discovered, as well as the first full dinosaur dig account.
