One of America's first "theme parks" was Willow Springs Water Park in Central Arkansas. It opened in 1928 and ran continuously until 2013. It is privately owned by David and Lou Ann Ratliff since 2003. Many generations of Arkansans grew up enjoying the park - and memories flood in from past customers on the Willow Springs Facebook page.
