Hey there beachgoers! Ready to catch some waves and soak up some sun? Let's dive into the surf zone forecast for some of our favorite spots.

Starting off in Coastal Pender, including Surf City and Topsail Beach. Today, we've got a moderate risk of rip currents, so keep an eye out. Surf heights are ranging from 1 to 3 feet with mostly sunny skies later on. Highs in the mid 70s with gentle north winds switching to the west.

Moving over to Coastal New Hanover with spots like Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. Similar conditions with a moderate rip current risk, 1 to 2 feet surf height, and that high UV index. North winds turning south later, enjoy those upper 70s temps.

And for those hitting up Coastal Brunswick - think Bald Head Island and Ocean Isle Beach - expect partly sunny weather, 2 to 4 feet surf heights east of Ocean Isle Beach and high 70s temperatures. Don't forget your sunscreen with that high UV index!

As for Coastal Horry, including Myrtle Beach, get ready for 1 to 2 feet surf heights and very high UV index today. North winds becoming south as you enjoy the upper 70s temps. Plus, mostly sunny skies - perfect for a beach day!

Last but not least, Coastal Georgetown featuring Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island. Enjoy the lower 70s water temps with 1-foot surf heights and plenty of sunshine. Light winds and highs in the upper 70s - sounds like a relaxing day by the water.

Remember to check those tide schedules and keep an eye out for any changes. And above all, stay safe in the water, especially with those rip currents around. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
