Surfers and beach lovers, gather 'round for the season's final wave wrap-up from the National Weather Service Wilmington!
As the autumn winds whisper and the waves begin to settle, we're closing the curtain on our 2024 Surf Zone Forecast season. From the sandy shores of Surf City and Topsail Beach in Pender County to the vibrant beaches of Wrightsville and Carolina, our coastal guardians have been tracking every ripple and swell.
Our forecasting journey has covered the stunning North Carolina coastline - from the pristine beaches of New Hanover County to the legendary surf spots of Brunswick County. We've watched surfers ride waves at Bald Head Island, Oak Island, and the charming Holden Beach.
But as the calendar turns and the ocean's mood shifts, we're taking a seasonal pause. The surf forecast team will recharge and prepare for the upcoming 2025 Beach Season, ready to spring back into action on April 1st.
To our dedicated wave riders, beach enthusiasts, and coastal community - thank you for another incredible season of surf tracking and maritime adventure. While the official forecasts rest, the ocean continues its eternal dance, promising new swells and endless possibilities.
Stay stoked, stay safe, and we'll catch you on the flip side when spring rolls around. Until then, may your boards be waxed and your spirits high!
Ride on, coastal warriors!
