Surf Report - Wilmington NC

Wilmington NC, Surf City and Topsail Beach Surf Report for 02-24-2025

Listen Later

Surfers and beach lovers, listen up! The wave season has officially closed its curtain for 2024. As the autumn chill settles in along the Carolina coastline, our beloved National Weather Service is hanging up its surf forecast clipboard until spring.

From the sandy shores of Surf City and Topsail Beach to the vibrant beaches of Wrightsville and Carolina, the surf zone forecasts are taking a seasonal timeout. Even our friends down in Brunswick at Bald Head Island and Oak Island are saying goodbye to daily wave reports.

Heading south, the Myrtle Beach crew and Georgetown coastal communities are also wrapping up their surfing season. Cherry Grove, North Myrtle Beach, Atlantic Beach - all getting ready for their winter hibernation.

But don't let the forecast pause get you down, wave riders! This is nature's rhythm - a time to tune up your boards, watch some epic surf videos, and dream about the epic swells waiting for you in 2025.

Mark your calendars because on April 1st, the National Weather Service Wilmington will be back with fresh forecasts, ready to guide surfers, paddleboarders, and ocean enthusiasts through another thrilling beach season.

Until then, stay stoked, stay prepared, and keep that surf spirit alive. Spring will be here before you know it, bringing fresh waves, new adventures, and the return of our beloved surf zone predictions. Catch you on the flip side!
