Catch ya on the flip side, beach lovers! The National Weather Service just dropped the final surf zone forecast for 2024, and it's time to hang up our boards until spring.

As the coastal winds whisper goodbye to another epic beach season, surfers and sun seekers from Surf City to Sunset Beach are packing away their gear. From the sandy shores of Pender County to the beautiful beaches of Brunswick and New Hanover, the coastline is preparing for its winter slumber.

Whether you've been catching waves at Wrightsville Beach, carving up the breaks at Carolina Beach, or chilling on the sands of Oak Island, the 2024 season has been a wild ride. Our friends along the South Carolina coast - from the vibrant shores of Myrtle Beach to the tranquil stretches of Pawleys Island - are also calling it a wrap.

But don't get too bummed out, wave riders! The National Weather Service in Wilmington has already marked their calendar. Mark yours too - April 1st, 2025 is when we'll dive back into the detailed surf zone forecasts that keep us safe and stoked.
