As the coastal winds whisper their final autumn melodies, we're signing off the 2024 Surf Zone Forecast with a bittersweet farewell. From the sandy shores of Surf City and Topsail to the vibrant beaches of Wrightsville and Carolina, our coastal guardians at the National Weather Service Wilmington have been your trusted wave watchers all season long.

Whether you rode epic swells at Masonboro Island or caught golden sunset breaks near Oak Island, we've been here tracking every ripple and swell. Bald Head Island's surfers, Kure Beach wave riders, and Ocean Isle Beach enthusiasts have all been part of our coastal community this year.

As the calendar turns, our surf forecast hibernates until April 1st, 2025. But don't hang up those boards just yet! This pause is just a moment of anticipation for the epic waves waiting to be conquered next season.

From the North Carolina coastline stretching into South Carolina's beautiful beaches - Cherry Grove, North Myrtle, Atlantic Beach, and beyond - we bid you a spectacular farewell. Murrells Inlet, Litchfield, Pawleys Island, and Debordieu Beach, you've been incredible.
