A pair of late goals from Newcastle's strike duo helped them beat Palace, but neither team gave a very good impression of themself on the evening. We discuss Joelinton's up and down night, the curious decision to start Eze instead of Schlupp on the left side for Palace, and whether either team should really feel very happy about the way they played on the night.

But first, we discuss all of the Europa League action from Thursday including a comfortable win for Arsenal, a riveting draw between Braga and Leicester, and a much needed win for Tottenham that saw them move close to joining the other two English sides in the last thirty-two. Dele Alli's brilliant showing, Mikel Arteta's need to focus on youth, and the colorful performance of Kasper Schmeichel are all on the agenda.
