SCRIPTURE: Luke 16:10
"Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much”
DEVOTION:
In this scripture Jesus is speaking about being trusted with the little things. He is communicating the thought that He blesses us with more when we are faithful with the smaller components of faith and life. In terms of athletics…..some coaches talk about winning games. Others discuss winning the day, and that’s good! But the great ones discuss WINNING THE REP! Instead of thinking about what it takes to score more points than the other team….think about what it takes to be excellent and win the rep right in front of us. We can’t change the past, we don’t yet know the future…..but we can control what we do the next rep! It’s the smaller components of sports and life that help us build successful habits.
