We discuss the origins of the blues and how it has impacted on virtually every form of music, other the classical music, down through the decades.

The podcast features one of Australia's top guitarists Mike Hayes on a Gibson ES-345 electric guitar in a duet with Brian Hayes on a 6 string Fender Bass playing an original composition called the Gibson Fender Blues.

An original clarinet blues is also featured, as is a tenor sax, baritone sax and jazz guitar version of Duke Ellington's famous C Jam Blues.
