In Chicago a serial killer is stalking the trains and no one is safe. The Detectives of number 13, Myar, Wil, Max and Shannon are determined to find the killer and bring him to justice. Complicating their search is the continuing hunt for a criminal mastermind who appears to be pulling the strings of everyone they try to investigate. As they work two totally different cases, each of the detectives brings his or her own personal agenda with them complicating not only their cases but their personal lives. With the chain of command not totally behind them using creativity may be their only alternative.
A good, slightly Noir mystery novel and police procedural, Wind Slayers is an interesting, and well written read with a story that keeps the pages turning. There is enough action to keep the novel moving and enough angst ridden characters to weave a complicated plot through.

Another GREAT Story by Robert Walker !
The Decoy Series is an action filled, intense read... I started with the first and went all the way to the end. I started the Edge Series, and Instinct Series, I believe I shall finish The Edge Series before continuing the Instinct Series. I have read The cutting edge, no disappointment there. It is a little difficult to try to read more than one at a time. I am a true crime, police story, thriller, and action buff. I can't seem to put these down... not that I want to... and neither will you...
not bad
Not a bad story line. Not as extreme in violence level as #1 and #2 Decoy Series by Robert W. Walker. At least it had a story to follow.
