Editorial Reviews:
Whether voicing the sinister fox Mr. Johnson, the gullible hen Winnie, or a gentle bear preacher, Rex Robbins puts his talents on full display with his versatile, animated performance of James Marshall's eccentric and playful children's romp about the abduction via hot-air balloon of the aforementioned Winnie.
Robbins' appropriately slapstick delivery, along with pitch-perfect sound effects that transport the listener to varied locations such as churches and costume stores, paint a vivid picture and will surely spur the imagination of children of all ages.

This is one of the books we read over and over. This is the second copy of "Wings, a tail of two chicken" we bought. Someone borrowed our old copy and love it, we don't know when we can get it back, So we get our second copy of this book to keep reading. Great book, teaches kids so many things in a smart little story.
Nice lesson-giving story :)
