Winston Peters is denying he's stopping MPs from having their say on the so-called waka-jumping bill.
National says the select committee process on the bill is a farce.
Electoral law spokesperson Dr Nick Smith says the committee has ignored all submissions to keep the Acting Prime Minister happy.
However, Winston Peters told Mike Hosking that's rubbish.
"These bills come back to the house, they have a second reading, then there's a a committee of the whole house, all 120 MPs will then be studying the bill as to whether a member should be made."
