Chase, Jade, and Oryon begin to plan on how to go after what had been controlling Father Ezlan's mind. A visit to the royal library finds an old map of the city's sewer system. Oryon and Chase make an after hours visit to the Ministry of Public Works and find a newer map of the system. A plan is devised to attempt to secure the access points into the sewers for the coronation with a plan to go exploring after the new king is crowned.
