Hey everyone!

Welcome to episode 106! This episode we're huddling up in heavy blankets with a steaming hot boozy drink.  Perfect for any cold weather, these winter drinks we're talking about will not only taste great, but will warm you from the inside out.

 

This week, we're drinking: Glögg

Recipe:

  • 1 bottle red wine (red blends tend to work best)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 2 tablespoons almonds (blanched and slivered)
  • 1 tablespoon cardamom
  • 2 tablespoons ginger (fresh root)
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 8 cloves
  • Optional: 1 1/2 cup of brandy or vodka
