A snowstorm that started last week that laid down several inches—the first significant accumulation of the year—was a welcome change to the dry winter for the Peterson family of Brigham City. Zach Peterson and his daughter built a dinosaur and re-purposed a Halloween decoration for the reptile’s rider. “It was nice to have some snow, don’t care for how late the snow was this year,” said Zach’s wife, Kennady. “Our daughter has loved playing— building the dinosaur and making snow angels.” The snow did, however, bring with it the usual slate of automobile accidents.
