Winter Solstice (also known as Yule) is generally known as the longest night and shortest day of the year, usually taking place on December 21st in the Northern Hemisphere and June 21st in the Southern Hemisphere. It is one of the eight festivals in the Wheel of the Year, which in its entirety represents the Cycle of Life.
But what exactly do we celebrate and why?
In this episode, you'll find out the meaning and core themes of Winter Solstice, how it's connected to our life as well as my favourite rituals to honour this time of year.
