The low that brought six feet of snow to California is finally moving into the Plains today. Throughout Wednesday, this system will continue to develop, fueled by both Pacific and Gulf Moisture. Around Thursday morning, this storm will hit the Midwest bringing a foot of snow to select locations. The mix of snow and heavy winds could lead to some severe weather including blizzard conditions in some areas. As of right now, the Northeast is looking a bit too warm to pick up any snow with this one, but the forecast models have been known to change.
