(Rock Hill, S.C.) -- Eagle Air hosted a special broadcast for Virtual Winthrop Day (April 25), which included interviews with students, faculty, staff and alumni, in order to give prospective students and families a look at what it's like to be part of the Winthrop community. We also asked people to share songs they would recommend for our #PandemicPlaylist.
In the final hour, we spoke with Matt Garner (2010), who graduated with a degree in sport management, about his time at Winthrop and his support of Eagle athletics. He works for Wells Fargo in the field of social listening and intelligence. Next, we spoke with Alison Hamilton (1992, 95), who graduated with a degree in business administration and also earned an MBA from Winthrop, about her time at the university. She works as a financial advisor for Raymond James in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
In the bottom of the hour, we were joined by Dr. Crystal Glover, assistant professor of early childhood education, about her time at Winthrop and the College of Education program. Finally, we spoke to LeTroy Gardner (2004), who graduated with a degree in mass communication, about his time at Winthrop. He is the creator and executive producer of the Good Ole Boys Radio Network and he also works as a serials coordinator for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill law library.
