One of my favorite teachers, Dr. Wayne Dyer, was genuinely instrumental in my spiritual path. His work on spirituality and self-development provided the necessary guidance for my journey. Dr. Dyer's text, Wisdom of the Ages, proposes wisdom emerges as one embraces and cultivates particular practices, traits, and attitudes. Moreover, Dyer uses various ancestral masters to articulate these teachings.
Today, we explore the practice, leadership, as defined by Lao Tzu. I share Dr. Dyer's thoughts on Tzu's interpretation of leadership. I conclude with my reflection on this subject as we, as Americans, are seeing leadership or lack thereof, arise during this Corona pandemic.
