Regardless of the inevitable ups and downs of life, we all have choices regarding how we respond to whatever life throws our way. The foolish people will blame outside circumstances while the wise are willing to take on the tough challenge of looking inside themselves and considering what they could’ve done differently. Today’s passage in the 10th chapter of Proverbs is full of a lyrical pattern of contrasts between the wise and the foolish.
