Proverbs 4:7 tells us that wisdom is the most important thing to get when it comes to our life. Wisdom isnot knowledge. Wisdom doesn’t come from simply growing older. Wisdom comes from God, and He is the source of it. Proverbs 8:22 tells us that the Lord formed wisdom from the beginning, before He created anything else. Psalm 111:10 tells us the starting point for wisdom is the fear (worshipful reverence) ofthe Lord. The beautiful thing about wisdom is that it is available to us freely through God’s abundant grace. Hewants us to embrace wisdom and the best way we can do that is to embrace Jesus. According to 1 Corinthians 1:31, Jesus was made to be wisdom itself.
