The second attribute of heavenly wisdom dictated by James here is that wisdom is peaceable. After we encounter the purifying power of wisdom we then have access to a divine peace that has the power to sustain us through all manner of trouble. If we will allow it to take hold, and to become real in our lives then we will find that peace is there, actively working in our lives.
