Genie Mayo at a youth conference 25-30 years ago at Ascension Convention had a youth pastors luncheon. She asked all of us to write down questions we had… Before she asked for questions she asked how many of us wrote down a question “how many hours a week do you work?”

   *She told us that having a great youth ministry was 90% hard work!!!

Wishes do not respond to wishing. But only respond to definite plans and definite actions and constant persistence. 

*Codependency is when 2 people hang around each other and enable each other to get worse… you will never reach your vision with codependent friends. 

5 Biblical Reasons to Work Hard

The Bible places significant emphasis on the value of hard work. Here are five reasons why:

1. Stewardship: God has entrusted us with talents, abilities, and resources. Hard work is a way to be good stewards of what He has given us. (Matthew 25:14-30)
