There is a very big difference between wishing for something great to happen and working for it. All stepparents do their best to balance the good and the bad times, which will inevitably show up, no matter what we do.

If we want to find success and happiness, then we need to make our peace with the "Work" required to build the trust needed for the future. You can't just sit back, relax, and pray for a miracle.
