One avoid alliteration always
Two prepositions are not words to end sentences with
Three avoid cliche like the plague they are old hat.
Four comparisons are as bad as cliches.
Five be more or less specific.
Six writers should never generalise
Seven don’t be redundant; don’t use more words than necessary; it’s highly superfluous.
